Glad I decided to get a second opinion! We recently had lightning hit our home and it hit our hvac unit. We had a larger company come out because they were able to get out right away. They seemed helpful at first and their diagnosis was a simple fuse. Great. They replaced the fuse but the unit still didn't work. They immediately said we should replace our entire system. Then proceeded to quote an astronomical price. A friend of ours had mentioned how good Mike & Jim were, so I decided to see what they thought...even though that meant more time without AC! Boy was it worth it. Mike came out and was so thorough. He figured the correct issue and what would be needed to try and repair. The part was on a 6 month backorder. Because I now had the full diagnosis correct, I was able to convince my insurance company to pay for a replacement. The price was more than fair and blew the doors off the other company! If you want techs who care and strive to do what is right, not what is going to make the most money...then call All Around Heating and Cooling!!!
